Frank Gower set an example of servant leadership at Otter Creek. It was known by few that he was the architect of the building at the corner of Otter Creek Road and Granny White Pike, but his design skills provided a space that fostered that church family’s life. The beautiful home he designed for his wife and children at the tip, top of the hill across the street from the church building was beautiful and welcoming.

He and wife, Martha, warmly welcomed all who visited. Frank and Martha Gower joined Ed and Anne Cullum in the Cullum’s convertible for the trip to Canada to accompany the teen group from Otter Creek. Frank and Martha provided parental guidance for the teens in an almost invisible fashion. Never intrusive, they provided support and encouragement and were totally “present.”
