Died Tuesday evening, October 14, 1969, at a local infirmary. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Enola Speer, and son, John W. Rucker, both of Nashville; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren. Remains are in the Iris Room of Woodlawn Funeral Home on Thompson Lane. Funeral services at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 1969, in the Chapel of Roses with brother Willie Cato and Brother Robert G. Neil officiating.
