II Corinthians 5:6-8…So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.
John Crawford Farewell, Dorsey! God holds you in His embrace now and you are free from all the hindrances of age and illnesses. I'm so grateful for your friendship and the chance to know and learn from you about humility and gratitude.
God bless all of your family!
Kaaren Andrews (12/05/17) Dorsey was a true professional whom I knew when working at Aetna Financial Services. I know he's now with his Lord. My sincere sympathy goes out to Carolyn, a good friend from our McMinnville days, and to his daughters. May He give you all comfort and peace.
Piettia York (11/27/17) I knew Dorsey and thought the world of him.Linda your dad was a very sweet man that will be missed very much. Love, Pia
Ed Stewart (11/23/17) On this day of Thanksgiving let me pay tribute and give thanks for knowing Dorsey Tynes. Almost forty years ago, Dorsey hired me to join his Aetna Agency, which he built from scratch. One year out of college, I was floundering in a life insurance company Mgt. Training program when I met Dorsey. I owe a great deal of my success to Dorsey and the team of professionals he put together, Bob Sinclair, Larry Gibson, Chris Buker, Mickey Ridings, Dave Stroud, Bob Elliott, George Reggs and others. Dorsey mentored me and pushed us all to be credentialed and the best we could be. He gave me a lot of guidance in my personal life as well. I have tried to be the father to my three daughters that he was to Linda, Carrie and Christy. Thanks, we will all miss you.
Len Scholl (11/19/17) Dorsey, it was my pleasure to get to know you over the past several months. You were a true professional and reminded me why we do what we do. I am so glad to have shared your wonderful stories but very sorry that we could not connect again in your final few days...but I'm glad you loved that Italian food! Yours was a life well lived, my friend, I wish you peace in heaven. Thank you for your friendship!
To Carolyn, Linda, Christy and Carrie - I am so thankful to have met Dorsey; he was a true gentleman and a wonderful person to know and learn from. I hope you enjoy many loving memories of him with your family for many years to come. God bless all of you. :-)
