Age ninety-two. August 31, 2016. Mr. Mason served in World War II, European Theater 3rd Infantry, Heavy Mortar Division where he was awarded the Purple Heart and four Bronze Service Stars. He was a residential builder for sixty-five years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bowers Mason.

Survived by his daughters, Marlene (Jim) Butler, Teresa (Phil) Maxwell, and Melinda (David) Nowers; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 4, 2016, from 2- 4 p.m. at Otter Creek Church of Christ, 409 Franklin Road, Brentwood, TN, with funeral services conducted at 4 p.m.

Family and friends will assemble for graveside services and interment Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
