Margaret Roper served in many ways. One that was particularly meaningful to me was her sharing her hobby of building doll houses and miniature furnishings with the young girls at Otter Creek. I appreciated so much her willingness to engage my older daughter, Andrea, with other girls her age in a group class to learn how to do this. The modeling she taught has been important to Andrea professionally as well as in her personal crafting. The experience of relationship building with her peers was invaluable. Her notes, meals, and helpfulness supported many families through her years at Otter Creek.
