Mrs. Ira E. (May) Travis—June 23, 1977 at a local infirmary. Survived by son, James William Travis, Atlanta GA.; daughter Mrs. Glenn Johnson of Brentwood, TN; granddaughters, Gwendolyn A. Johnson of Knoxville, TN, Millann T. Funk of New York, and Carroll Travis of Atlanta GA; grandson, William A. Travis of Nashville. Also survived by three great grandchildren, Mrs. Travis is in the Rose Room of Woodlawn Funeral Home on Thompson Lane. Funeral services will be conducted Friday June 24, 1977, at 10:00 a.m. from the Woodlawn Chapel of Roses, with Allan Ray officiating. Mrs. Travis was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. Active pallbearers: Ken Collins, Kennedy Green, John Rucker, Paul Swindell, Ed Whitmore, John Wilson. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lakeshore Home For the Aged.
